Pride Month
Pride Month matters for everyone. It is far more than a celebration within the LGBTQ+ community—it is an invitation for all of us to reflect on diversity, acceptance, and the fundamental human rights that every person deserves. Its significance reaches beyond individual identity, encouraging allies and society as a whole to recognise both the progress made and the challenges that Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and other marginalised identities continue to face.
Pride Month is rooted in a universal pursuit: the pursuit of equality, dignity, and the freedom to live authentically. It is a celebration of love in all its forms, a reminder of the courage it takes to be oneself, and a call for collective responsibility in building a world where everyone can thrive without fear or prejudice.
TP at Birmingham Pride
We at BEAR would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our very own TP for organising a group of our members to walk in the Birmingham Pride parade.
His commitment, energy, and willingness to step forward for the community have made a real difference. TP has been a dedicated member of BEAR for many years, as well as a long-standing Moderator, and we truly cannot thank him enough for everything he continues to do.
BEAR at Birmingham Pride
A look back at a joyful day of pride, visibility, and community with members of BEAR at Birmingham Pride.

Paul at Exeter Pride
Our Moderator, Paul, attended Exeter Pride on Saturday 9th May. It looked like an amazing event, and the weather was good!

Paul at Torbay Pride
Paul, our social butterfly, also recently attended Torbay Pride, which took place on 12 June.
It looked like another amazing Pride celebration, filled with community, visibility, and connection.
